For Prospective Members

All students desiring to participate in the recruitment process must register with Fraternity and Sorority Life/Student Activities and attend a New Member Orientation Session.

 

 

 

Interfraternity Council (IFC) - The Interfraternity Council is the umbrella organization for recognized fraternities on campus. IFC consists of one representative from each chapter and an executive board annually elected officers.

Fraternity Eligibility Requirements

  • Be in good standing with Bentley University
  • Complete one semester of academic coursework
  • Minimum GPA is a 2.3 - additional requirements are outlined by each chapter
  • Transfer students with a class code (2) are eligible
  • Register with Fraternity and Sorority Life/Student Activities by attending a New Member Orientation Session

 

Fall 2012 Fraternity Recruitment Dates

  • Recruitment Activity Period – September 5th - 16th
  • Recruitment Registration/New Member Orientation - September 17th
  • New Member Education Period – September 17th - October 29th

 

Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha Sorority, Inc. (ΣΙΑ) - Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. is a sorority that constantly strives towards the expansion of awareness of the Latino culture to members and the community at large while promoting sisterhood and leadership.  Members serve as models of excellence in academics and achievements among women.

Sorority Eligibility Requirements

  • Be in good standing with Bentley University
  • Complete one semester of academic coursework
  • Minimum GPA is a 2.5 - additional requirements are outlined by each chapter
  • Transfer students with a class code (2) are eligible
  • Register with Fraternity and Sorority Life/Student Activities by attending a New Member Orientation Session

  • Recruitment Registration/New Member Orientation - To Be Announced Fall 2012
