Resident Assistants (RAs) are upper-class students who reside in Bentley University residence halls and help build strong and healthy residential communities which complement and extend classroom learning. RAs are expected to create residential environments that enhance student academic progress and success, to know and explain University policies, to be available to students, to encourage student responsibility and accountability, and to build community among the students.

Your RA can be one of the most helpful and resourceful individuals on campus. These individuals are full-time, academically successful students who have been carefully selected because of their leadership potential, interpersonal skills, positive attitudes and sense of commitment to promoting a living/learning environment. RAs complete extensive and ongoing training to fulfill their many roles.
As peers, the RAs not only provide general information and referral help/models of successful adjustment to college living, but they assist with roommate/suitemate conflicts and plan educational, cultural and social programs.
