An officer cannot admit you to your room. If you are sure your ID is in your room, you can contact your RA for assistance to get into your room.
No, parking in a fire lane or handicapped space is strictly forbidden for any length of time. Staff spaces can only be used on weekends, see the explanation above.
IDs are available at University Police for students, staff and faculty between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please see the Card Office section of the website for more information as to changes in hours for the Academic Year and Summer. Resident student who need a replacement of their ID card after hours will be issued a temporary card until the Card Office is open.
For new incoming students, staff and faculty, new IDs are issued free of charge. Damaged IDs are replaced at no cost to you if you turn in the current active ID card. If your ID card is lost or stolen, you can replace that card. The price for the first replacement is $5; the second and third replacement is $10; the fourth and more is $25 each.
Students, staff and faculty are authorized to utilize a designated parking space on campus for short- or long-term vehicle storage. A vehicle storage agreement form must be filled out prior to leaving your vehicle on campus. The storage agreement clearly covers the legal requirements for the college and pursuant to the General Laws of Massachusetts.
