Maria DiLorenzo
Director

A native of Dallas, Texas, Maria has been a resident of Boston for over ten years.  Formerly the Director of Student Activities and Family Programs, Maria also has experience in college ministry at Boston College and Regis College where she became interested in the spirituality of millennials and practical techniques for spiritual growth.  Maria's office is in the Student Life suite, Room 330D, and she is on campus Sunday-Thursday of the academic year.

Professor Pierce Butler
Buddhist Coordinator

Pierce is a lecturer and writer-in-residence in the English and Media Studies department. He has a special interest in the practice of meditation, which he offers weekly in the Sacred Space on Wednesdays at 12:45pm.  For students interested in the Buddhist tradition, you may contact him at pbutler@bentley.edu or 781-891-2958.

Reverend Bob Congdon
Catholic Chaplain

Fr. Bob Congdon also serves the community at St. Mary's parish in Brookline.  His office hours on campus are Thursdays from 4:30-6:30pm in the Student Center bubble, Room 310K.  You can also find him celebrating our Sunday Mass at 7pm in the Sacred Space.  To contact Fr. Professor Satya Prakash Saraswat
Hindu Resource Person

Satya Prakash Saraswat is a professor of computer information systems at Bentley University, and holds advanced degrees in computers and business administration from Georgia State University. Coming from a Brahmin family in north India, he is deeply interested in Hindu ceremony, mythology and mysticism. He has studied the Vedic and classical Sanskrit and has published papers connecting mythical thought with modern science. His hobbies are astronomy, history and world mythology.

Rabbi Jeff Foust
Jewish Adviser

Rabbi Foust has considerable Hillel campus experience, at Oberlin College, University of South Florida, and MIT. Currently, he is the rabbi at Waltham's Temple Beth Israel. He lives in Newton with his wife and two children. He has a passion for good conversation, Jewish history, Jewish mysticism, and how to create free quality time in the midst of a society preoccupied with "busyness."

Professor Pierce Butler
Interim Muslim Adviser

As our Islamic community grows and develops, Pierce works closely with the students in the Bentley Islamic Community to plan, coordinate and promote events and prayer opportunities.  In any effort to be more intentional for all the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam), Pierce helps bridge connections within our Bentley community and externally as well.  A long time lover of the Sufi poet, Rumi, Pierce also coordinates an annual event called the Celebration of Rumi. 

Reverend Kirstin Boswell-Ford
Protestant Chaplain

Rev. Kirstin Boswell-Ford recently relocated from Chicago, IL, where she  served as Director of Operations for a non-profit organization affiliated with the University of Chicago Divinity School.  Currently Rev. Kirstin serves as  Associate Pastor at Union Baptist Church in Cambridge, MA.  She is also completing a PhD in Anthropology and Sociology of Religion at the University of Chicago.  

Rev. Kirstin is on campus for office hours on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm in Room 310K of the Student Center, as well as Sunday evenings for the Protestant worship service at 4pm in the Sacred Space.  You may also reach her by emailing kboswell@uchicago.edu or calling her at 773-203-6684.
