2012 ALANA EXPERIENCE

Registration will open online at noon on Tuesday, July 10th.
The ALANA Experience Orientation Program is a 3.5-day event which allows first-year ALANA students the opportunity to engage with other incoming and upperclassmen students all the while getting acclimated to campus ahead of the rest of campus. The purpose of ALANA Experience is to provide critical tools and resources to students that will assist them in achieving a successful and productive first year experience.

At the ALANA Experience Program students will...
- Learn how to be successful socially and academically
- Meet other incoming and upperclassmen students
- Make connections with campus faculty, staff, and administrators
- Network with Bentley ALANA alumni
- Become a part of the ASAP Mentor/Mentee Program
- Meet and network with several of corporate partners at a variety of workshops
- Celebrate and appreciate diversity
- Beat the move-in rush
- Have fun!
The ALANA Experience seeks to be a model program established for the successful retention of our diverse student population through its innovative promotion of academic success, corporate connections, and workshops that develop professional, social and life skills.
As a result of attending the ALANA Experience Program Students will be able to:
- Create and maintain bonds with fellow ALANA students
- Achieve a comfort level which will lead to their retention.
- Learn about some the programs and services made available to students on the Bentley campus.
- Build a relationship with Corporate Partners for Internships, full-time and other opportunities
- Identify some key faculty and staff members on the Bentley campus
- Know where to go for support, guidance and assistance.
