First Week

August 28 to September 3, 2012

First Week is a program designed to make your transition to college life as easy as possible. Throughout the week, you will:

• Attend mandatory information sessions and academic classes such as English and math
• Participate in information sessions on topics such as working on campus, study abroad, getting to know Boston and the local area
• Attend social events where you will meet your new classmates
• Enjoy off-campus excursions where you can explore Boston and beyond

Residential students will move into their housing assignments on Tuesday, August 28. Students not living in university housing will commute to campus for classes, workshops and social events, just as you would during the semester.
