First Week

First Week is a program designed to make your transition to college life as easy as possible. The 2011 program for all new students is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30 to Monday, September 5, 2011.

Throughout the week, you will attend mandatory information sessions and academic classes such as English and math. In addition, you will pick and choose from a variety of information sessions on topics such as working on campus, study abroad, getting to know Boston and the local area, as well as living on campus.

Residential students will move into their housing assignments on Tuesday, August 30. Students not living in University housing will commute to campus for classes, workshops and social events, just as you would during the semester.
